Jewel Lamps & Pendant Lights | Blown Glass & Marble | Arduino |2017
An Interactive lighting project powered by Arduino. The Jewel lamps and pendant lights are activated by a touch sensor and react to the users heart rate which determines the lights brightness. The lights will dim or brighten depending on the users heart rate, creating either a bright lively atmosphere or a relaxed ambient atmosphere.
Composed of hand-blown light shades using a pastel colour-fade technique with blown internal facet cut diffusers, the lamps sit on rectangular polished marble slabs leaving opportunity for the lamps to be staggered as a group or individually.
3D Printed components hold the electrical connections within the marble slabs and the arduino sensor.
