Memory ImpressionSculpture | 2013 | Blown Glass & Copper
Research into how we remember relatives through photography and how memories of specific people and moments are amplified through these images was the inspiration behind ‘Memory Impressions’. The aim was to visually interpret this process using blown glass with copper pierced images of relatives which are magnified through the use of water within small monument-like forms. Completed at The Glass Furnace in Turkey with glass artists Jiri Pacinek and Rob Stern. |
